In Ontario, the Small Claims Court is a branch of the Superior Court of Justice. It deals with civil disputes of a monetary value of up to $35,000 (Canadian). You can claim for money owed under an agreement such as unpaid accounts for goods or services, unpaid loans, unpaid rent, nsf cheques and claims for damages such as property damage, personal injuries and breach of contract. If you need to make a claim, please contact us so we can assist you. If your dispute is over $25,000.00 (Canadian), we can refer you to a legal representative who will assist you with the matter.
